Our founding fleet (one Agusta AW109SP and three AW119Kx single-engine helicopters) are in the process of being replaced with an entirely new fleet of twin-engine Agusta AW109 Trekker aircraft through 2026 and 2027.
For us, this signifies a noticeable step change as we kick on from the foundations built over the last 6 years since taking delivery of the original fleet.
The AW109 Trekker offers up an excellent balance between the two previous types we had on fleet – the weather resilience and night capabilities afforded to twin-engine helicopters in the UK, mixed with the ability to carry higher payloads than the competition like the AW119Kx. With over 100kgs more payload available when compared to the AW109SP, the Trekker is going to come into its own for the longer range, higher passenger load requirements.
